ABOUT US

Hi. My name is Jeanie Poole, a.k.a. Renny's Mom, and I am the owner, operator, and sole proprietor of The Pottery Poole. I moved here from the Washington, D.C. area in 2001 because I thought it would be a terrific place to raise my son, and I have found that to be delightfully true. The Pottery Poole was merely an afterthought and just my idea of something fun to do...a huge departure from my previous life!

It is an understatement to say that we have a casual atmosphere here at "The Poole", and while I sometimes post a calendar, our hours should be very loosely interpreted.

However, if you have scheduled a party or made an appointment with us, rest assured that we will not let you down. The party will go on!

Hi, I'm Silly Pickle. I hope you don't mind dogs, 'cause my sister, Lucy, and I are here almost all the time. We pretty much run the place! I'm very friendly and working hard to mind my manners, but I have a long way to go (The FedEx man was very surprised when I ran out into that BIG street)! I expect in time I'll get used to all the activity around this new place.

This is Lucy. She can bark really loud and sometimes it's a little scary. It's just because her Daddy was a hound dog, though. She wouldn't hurt a fly!

This is us hanging out with our boy, Renny. He's awesome! He's here most of the time, too, so if you're afraid of children, during the school year he's usually not here on LATE NIGHT's and LAZY DAZE's.
